Landscape Construction Foreman

Nussbaum Group is currently searching for a Landscape Construction Foreman to add to our team. This position is a blended role of leadership and training and is responsible for the cohesiveness of the team. This position offers great opportunity for growth as you will act as the Site Lead when the Superintendent is unable to be present on site. The ideal Grouper for this position will be self motivated, professional, open to learning the Nussbaum Way and standards of quality to construct unique and exceptional landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily work planning and quality control of the crew
- Assists in training the team members on all aspects of project work, Nussbaum Group standards of quality, and skill development
- Provides on-site project oversight when Superintendent is not available
- Operates and maintains small and large machinery, using machinery safely and effectively to keep projects on budget
- Acts as liaison between team members and superintendents
- Proactively establishes and supports a positive commitment to safety on the job site
- Assists in establishing a culture of quality and exceptional client care on all projects
Qualifications:
- A degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture or a related degree is preferred
- 2 years of professional landscape or construction experience is required
- 1 year of experience supervising team members
- Ability to show working knowledge of tools/landscape construction practices and operation of heavy equipment required
- Basic irrigation knowledge is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Spanish proficiency a plus
- Good physical condition and endurance; with the ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid, current WA driver's license
Pay range $34.88-41.85 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
