Nussbaum Group is searching for an experienced landscape professional to join our Maintenance Department as a Maintenance Team Member. This position assists with caring for high-end residential and estate gardens using organic practices. You'll work hands-on under experienced Team Leads, applying your horticultural skills in a supportive, detail-focused environment. As part of an employee-owned company, your daily efforts directly support our shared success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine organic garden maintenance daily, (weeding, pruning, & lawn care)
  • Assist with seasonal plantings, transplanting, hedging and garden bed preparation
  • Use IPM techniques to monitor plant health and report pest, disease, or irrigation issues
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas across all properties
  • Operate hand tools and small machinery safely and effectively
  • Follow guidance from Team Leads and collaborate closely with teammates
  • Uphold aesthetic and horticultural standards across all garden areas
  • Support special projects such as landscape renovations

  • Available full-time: 40–50 hrs/week during peak season, 30–40 hrs/week in the off-season
  • Valid WA driver’s license is preferred but not required

Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of landscape maintenance or fine gardening is preferred but not required
  • A degree in Forestry, Horticulture, or Environmental Science is preferred but not required
  • Basic plant ID knowledge specific to the Pacific Northwest plant palate
  • Basic irrigation knowledge a plus
  • Ability to show working knowledge of tools/equipment/practices etc.
  • Good physical condition and endurance; able to lift 50lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions

Pay range: $24.96-$29.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
