Construction Project Engineer

Nussbaum Group is searching for a Construction Project Engineer to support the management and implementation of exceptional landscapes for high-end residential projects and are seeking candidates that demonstrate a knowledge of construction and the ability to assess solutions to landscape construction challenges. This role assists in accurate budget creation and all aspects of project management in-office to address all aspects of our work. Responsibilities:
- Assists the Construction Project Manager (CPM) in preparing landscape budgets for projects.
- Assists in the preparation of change orders for construction projects.
- Proactively communicates with CPMs to ensure that the projects are running smoothly.
- Participates in horticulture, equipment and safety training and exemplifies standards.
- Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring quality of product and accurate pricing.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of professional landscape construction project management experience or related building and/or field experience.
- Certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Construction Management, Entrepreneurship, or related field.
- 2+ years (Entry Level) of client service experience within landscape, nursery retail/ wholesale, or a similar high-end customer service industry.
- Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans/drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion to learn, attention to details and a desire to provide quality service and results.
- Valid, current WA driver's license

This is a full-time position. Pay range: $65,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience
