Landscape Construction Superintendent

The Landscape Construction Superintendent is a unique and critical role. It blends the highest level of skill and knowledge of best practices for both construction and organic maintenance of landscapes. In this role you will lead a team of dedicated Foremen and and Team Members through the entire project life-cycle. You will be involved in pre-construction planning, running the site build to closeout, supervising subcontractors and or liasing directly with the client or client representative. We build client relationships that last by building landscapes that thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Construction Project Managers during estimating and budget development
- Prepare and manage project schedule
- Identify resources and equipment needs for the project
- Oversee and ochestrate day-to day construction site activities
- Display both leadership and ability to work alongside team members when needed
- Transition project knowledge to Maintenance Project Manager and Team at closeout of project
- Mentor and train team for skill development and increased responsibility
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to producing an exceptional quality of work
- Proactively establish and support a positive commitment to safety on the jobsite
Pay range $40.51-$50.64 per hour, commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ professional landscape experience; a degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or related field a plus
- A minimum of 1 year of experience supervising, coaching or developing team members is required
- Experience working with irrigation is a plus
- Proven ability to read plans and specifications required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Spanish proficiency a plus
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office and time and attendance software
- Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects of up to 50lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to effectively collaborate across all departments
- Valid, current WA driver's license
