Leah grew up spending time on job sites with her dad, a small-scale general contractor, and those early experiences sparked her interest in the built environment. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington and explored architecture, structural engineering, and real estate throughout her studies. Ultimately, her appreciation for the natural world and the responsibility we share in stewarding it is what led her to landscape, and her enthusiasm for planning and project organization brought her to Nussbaum Group.

She enjoys learning from the passionate and supportive people at Nussbaum Group and values the sense of awe that comes from watching a creative vision take shape. Playing a role in bringing that work to life is deeply meaningful to her.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband, Jack, and her family. She loves long nature walks, reading, making pies, watching YouTube documentaries, and going van camping.
